Dezeen Showroom: Flemish designer Dirk Wynants has created the AMAi modular table for Extremis that features a tabletop that can be positioned for either sitting or standing.
The AMAi modular table has a long, height-adjustable surface supported between two A-frames, and the option to include integrated LED lighting, power outlets and sun shades.
Its features make it suitable for both indoors and outdoors, and for scenarios ranging from co-working to relaxed dining.
AMAi seats eight people and can fit more standing, and it can be infinitely extended through the addition of extra A-frames for larger parties.
Its tabletop can be quickly adjusted up and down as required using the simple sliding mechanism.
AMAi is made of either structured powder coated stainless steel or galvanised steel. The frame is available with a black, white, copper brown or galvanised steel finish, and there are additional wood options for the tabletop.
