Below are Philippine Prudential's new executive promotions:
The Senior Vice President and Head of Legal and Compliance position was designated to Atty.
Ramon S. Untalan. Atty. Untalan has a 20-year work experience including project planning and implementation, legal management and counselling, and financial analysis. He finished his pre-law studies at the University of Santo Tomas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, whereas in 1984, he completed his Bachelor of Laws degree in the Ateneo de Manila School of Law.
Philippine Prudential Life's new Vice President is Ms. Beverly G. Gascon. Even though she will be the new Vice President of Prudential Life, she will continue to be the head of the Information Services Division. She possesses 16 years of experience and expertise in the field of information technology.
She was once a project manager of various companies, such as Sky Cable, and managed all phases of systems development before she joined Philippine Prudential Life in 2009 as the Assistant Vice President of the Information Services Division. She has a wide expertise ranging from data gathering to testing, transition, and implementation.
She graduated from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines as Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology. She also taught programming, data structures, computer literacy, and computer systems organization in the said university. Ms. Gascon is also a certified Genesys Developer.
The position for Assistant Vice President was assigned to Ms. Corina C. Cabognason who will still also remain as the head of Philippine Prudential Life's Human Resources Department.
Ms. Cabognason has a 15-year work experience in the life insurance industry and continues to share his knowledge and expertise to her fellow employees through incorporating these skills in employee relations and welfare and employee services. She first became a Personal Assistant and, later, a Personnel Supervisor at Fortune Life. Ms. Cabognason graduated from De La Salle University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and studied at the University of Santo Tomas for her Masters in HR Management.
This position is now assigned to Mr. Leoncio M. Quiming Jr. who has 16 years of experience in various fields, such as sales, marketing, customer service, and so on. He has a wide experience in different insurance companies, briefly worked as a private duty nurse at the Makati Medical Center.
